Cassandra Nanamoto, the Glass Lotus, is a human Knight of Cayd Rock in the Quiet Era. Nanamoto is a tall black-haired East Asian who uses the pronouns she/her.

Notoriously reserved, Nanamoto speaks only when she is sure. She is well-regarded for her clear, logical thinking. As well as being precise in her speech, she is precise in her movements, wasting no energy.

In contrast to her understated behaviour, Nanamoto is known for her habit of dressing in elaborately ornamented clothes.

Nanamoto is often assigned quests where patience and cool-headedness are of utmost importance. Although she has few dashing exploits to her name, this is mostly because her missions are usually tidily completed before things reach a point where dashing exploits are needed.

By the time of Jay Pelecki's retirement from the throne of Cayd Rock, Nanamoto is one of the most experienced knights in current service, and is chosen by Pelecki as her successor.

Like all Knights, Nanamoto was issued a monomolecular blade and a Bugorski gun (particle gun) from the Vectal Arsenal at Cayd Rock. However, unusually, her weapons were built as an additional pair of arms, suited for attachment to her extensive augmetics. She also has a more conventional set of arms, which are used when combat is not expected. Her sword was named Viides Käsivarsi (Fifth Arm) and her gun was named Kuudes Käsivarsi (Sixth Arm).
