Hydra Spear is a hyperlight weapon constructed in the Quiet Era.

This weapon was constructed by the Vectal Forge at Cayd Rock during the Quiet Era. It was fitted to the Cayd corvette Pyre Addict, flagship of the knight Jana So. So used it to defeat the Spectral King in the Duellist Nebula.

Hydra Spear is a vectal replication system which can be fitted to a starship or similarly-sized platform. It produces highly capable missiles which are self-replicating. A single Hydra Spear launch can produce thousands of missiles in only a few minutes, and will continue to produce more as long as the target and any missile are still active.
