The Nightfall Embassy is a large permanent space station located in the Devil's Reef system. It is operated by the Nightfall Pact.

Balanced in the gravitational equilibrium between the system's two stars, the Embassy is an imposing structure capable of housing numerous delegations and their ships. Its exterior is adorned with the banners of every clan to have send an ambassador.

The clans of the Nightfall Pact have many disagreements. The Embassy serves as a traditional neutral location for clan representatives to meet and resolve these disagreements. It is here that the leader of the council of major clans, the Voice of the Pact, resides.

The Devil's Reef system in general, and the Nightfall Embassy in particular, is considered to be common ground, under the jurisdiction of no one clan and subject to a universal oath of peace. Any Serenna who violates this tradition is likely to be turned on by all others.

The Embassy is also the main hub for diplomatic relations between the Nightfall Pact and other states. Although there are no permanent international delegations on the station, it's not uncommon for envoys to travel there when an arrangement must be made or a misunderstanding cleared up.
