Waldone is a single yellow star in the Carina region. It has four major planets and 356 minor bodies.

The star is on the edge of a large dust cloud. Drifts of dust occasionally blow across the system, dimming the star and creating a dull glow around it.

Waldone was a system of no particular interest until the Quiet Era. Sometime during that period, a number of independent systems and minor states across the Carina region came together at Waldone to sign a treaty of federation, making the system the administrative capital of the Federation of Waldone.
